Essentially a thermal break window is simply where reinforced polyamide (or plastic) bars are inserted between the inside and outside of aluminium profiles to provide an insulated aluminium window and door. This polyamide bar stops the transfer of heat and noise through the extrusion by means of a "break" in the aluminium, hence thermal break windows. Huge benefit are gained by utilising our thermal break windows with up to 40% reduction in cooling costs in this humid hot weather.

INSULATED GLASS

Insulated glass can be found in both commercial and residential construction. It is required by building codes in many countries as a mandatory energy conservation measure. It really makes sense because single pane glass has virtually NO insulating value.

Insulated glass are basically multiple layered glass panes that have very dry air between the glass panes. The glass panes are hermetically sealed. They not only lower one's energy costs, but also diminish the effects of fading on curtain and furniture. Insulated glass panes are also highly effective in reducing unwanted sound transmission and reduce the amound of heat entering home therefore lessening the amount of energy needed for cooling.
